What type of baseball to use?
« on: May 13, 2013, 08:35:14 AM »
We're a kid pitch little league team and we bought the Rawlings CROLB leather baseballs from Dicks' to use in practice and they are terrible.  These are the ones in the black bucket (4.99/ea).  Step up from their branded ball I suppose.  After another month of hitting I think they're going to be mush, like their branded ball.

What's the best ball out there to use in practice that simulates gameballs?  I know Rawlings makes good balls, we just guessed wrong.  Diamond is another brand I heard that's good too.

Any help is appreciated.

I've been using Diamond DLL's and really like them. Check out the Diamond site and it shows whats under the leather. Pretty neat.
