My son needs a new catcher's glove and I want to make sure I get him one that's durable and will last for a long time. I found this one, but it's a little expensive. What do you guys? Are there cheaper alternatives that are just as if not more durable?

How old is your son.?
34" is on the bigger side of catchers mitts but since its a superskin model it is suppose to be lighter weight.  You definitely want a mitt he can handle.

We just had to come up with a quick solution for my 11U.  We needed a Glove NOW, after lacing busted and I didn't have time to fix it.  We got this glove as a temporary replacement (this is a 33", I think we got a 32", but I couldn't find that one).....we treated it with Hot Glove foam (3x) and Hot Glove conditioner took it to the batting cages the next day and took about 45 pitches in it in the medium fast cage.  It was ready to go in two days.  He actually now prefers this glove and uses it the majority of the time.

I'm not in anyway endorsing this glove as any kind of comparable model to an A2000.   It was just a decent quality glove at a low price point that ended up meeting our needs and even a little more.
